Tournaments are live across THNDR’s network as of today, on every game we ship.
We built 1v1 first because 2 players going at each other for real money is the cleanest competition there is, and that part isn’t going anywhere. But putting 1 player against a whole leaderboard turned out to be a different product - one that is more engaging and pays better!
A player buys in, posts a score, and sees 4 names above theirs. So they buy in again. Re-entries are unlimited, the board runs for an hour, and the prize at the top is worth more than any single opponent was ever going to stake in a PvP match. They keep having a go at it until the clock stops.
Scores aren’t one-and-done. The players at the top come back to defend them, which is a habit we didn’t have to design, because getting overtaken is annoying enough on its own.
Players from every operator compete on the same board, which is the part that makes it work at scale. A board needs a real field on it before climbing means anything, and no single operator’s lobby has enough people in it at 2AM on a Tuesday.
That shows up most on launch day. A partner going live this afternoon inherits a board that other operators’ players are already sitting on, so there’s nothing to wait for.
Tournaments will feel familiar to a player who’s never touched a skill game. Small stake, big prize, and nobody to coordinate with. That’s by design, and it’s how tournaments reach the players who never took to 1v1.
Nothing here resembles a chance product. How well you play is what moves you up the board, and our patent-pending verification means any score can be proved rather than asserted. Matchmaking and prize design run on a 50/50 target win rate with skill brackets, so a casual player keeps a real shot instead of getting buried by grinders.
Players never ask about this part. But your compliance team will.
Partners running Tournaments are seeing a 41% GGR uplift.
The network underneath has 160m+ games played, a 99.99% fill rate, and 25+ partners live. We’ve been running real-money skill tournaments for iGaming operators at scale since 2019.
“1v1 is fun. We built it first for a reason and it still works. But 1vMany is even more engaging. There is no waiting for an opponent, you’re climbing past everyone on the network instead of beating 1 person, and you can keep having a go until the board closes. Our partners are seeing a 41% GGR uplift.”

Tournaments run on every title we ship, hourly, styled to your lobby down to the pixel so players never know we’re there. New partners are live in 5 to 10 days.
If you already run THNDR games, Tournaments are on them. If you don’t, the quickest way to understand it is to watch a live board fill up.
